KEUKA PARK, N.Y.— The Keuka College Softball Team has played in North Eastern Athletic Conference Championship Game in nine of the last eleven seasons, including winning the title a conference record seven times.
The path to number eight for the Wolves has been laid out as Keuka College released their 2018 schedule on Friday.
For the third straight season, Keuka College will begin their campaign in early March at the Virginia Wesleyan College Beach Blast. The Green and Gold will then have a two-week layoff before their first northern games on March 24, playing at Alfred University.
North Eastern Athletic Conference play will begin for the Wolves on March 25, hosting SUNY Poly in a doubleheader. March will close on the road with a doubleheader at Houghton College followed by a pair of NEAC doubleheaders at Wells College and Cazenovia College.
The Wolves host SUNY Geneseo to begin April and then play eight more games on the road. Overall, Keuka College will play 14 out of 16 games on the road during that stretch. Also included in that run of road contests is a rematch of the last two NEAC Championship games as Keuka College travels to Penn St.-Berks for a doubleheader.
Conversely, 12 of the final 16 games of the season will be at home for the Green and Gold. The two road dates are doubleheaders against local rivals St. John Fisher College and Nazareth College. The Cardinals finished the 2017 season as the second ranked team in the country.
The regular season will close on Saturday, April 28 with a home NEAC doubleheader against Wells College. Keuka College will host their annual Parents' and Senior Day celebration in-between the two games with the Express.
